BOY with “double presence” at the HMI 2019

At the Hanover Fair (1st – 5th April, 2019) two different types of BOY injection moulding machines will be presented on two different booths. A BOY 25 E, the successful model of the manufacturer located in Neustadt-Fernthal in the clamping force range of 250 kN, will be located in Hall 4 on booth D 09 of the company Burwinkel Kunstoffwerk GmbH. The compact injection moulding machine will alternately produce small plastic forks and well-designed bubble wand handles during the five days of the fair. In the immediate vicinity on booth D03 of the company Dietrich Lüttgens GmbH & Co. KG a BOY XS produces practical bottle openers.

The compact BOY 25 E convinces with its smooth running and low energy consumption. The efficient servo drive of the E series sets standards in this clamping force range in terms of small footprint (1.8 m²) and low machine hour rates. Six sizes of injection units with seven different screw diameters and much more offer a wide range of equipment options. Thus, higher injection speeds can be achieved by differential-injection in the injection units 250-11, 250-16 and 250-39.

The intuitive Procan ALPHA control does not only ensure high-precision parts production on the BOY 25 E with a clamping force of 250 kN. Also for the BOY XS this control offers a maximum of repeatability for precision parts. The BOY XS with a clamping force of 100 kN is designed for a continuous industrial use and offers new prospects for micro- and sprueless single-cavity injection moulding.

Optionally, a plasticizing unit with a screw diameter of 8 mm is available. This ensures shortest dwell times - a major advantage for a gentle processing of temperature-sensitive materials.

Dr. Boy GmbH & Co. KG is one of the leading worldwide manufacturers of injection moulding machines with clamping forces up to 1,250 kN. The very compact, durable machines work precise, energy-saving and therefore highly economical. BOY continually sets new standards in our industry with innovative concepts and solutions. Since the company was founded in 1968 nearly 50,000 Injection Moulding Machines have been delivered worldwide. The privately owned company continues to put special emphasis on engineered performance and high-class "made in Germany" workmanship.
