Successful introductions of the BOY XXS and the DemoPlast in Romania

With the introduction of the BOY XXS at the very first plastic exhibition, the DemoPlast in

Arad/Romania, the trade visitors were offered two new products. BOY - the German

manufacturer of Injection Moulding Machines with a clamping force of up to 1,000 kN,

presented its latest model with a clamping force of 63 kN at the new event on the

Romanian plastics market.

During the three-day exhibition the BOY XXS produced snap hooks at the booth of the Romanian BOY representative 1.Plastcompany, spol. S.r.o. . For the production of these parts printed metal mould inserts were used. Compared with the 3D-plastic mould inserts, these inserts have a significantly longer durability. Especially in the case of small and medium quantities, the printed metal mould inserts are much more cost-effective and faster to manufacture than conventional injection moulds. For the BOY Injection Moulding Machines (XS, XXS and 25 E and 35 E), a cassette mould has been developed, that offers both, a significant increase of the flexibility in case of small quantities due to quickly exchangeable mould plates and a significant reduction of the changeover times as well.

With the first performance of the DemoPlast in Romania, Jozef Tatár, Sales Manager of 1.Plastcompany, was satisfied: "The fair was organized very well and we were able to make good contacts. The event still has potential for development in terms of visitor response, but we have been able to attract many visitors as one of the few exhibitors with a producing Injection Moulding Machine” is Mr. Tatàr’s recap of the fair. For the Romanian market our representative is well prepared and is already looking forward to the DemoPlast next year.
