This policy applies to our website and all of our trade show, trade conference, award and publication websites only, and does not apply to any other website or offline contact point. References in this policy to “the website,” “this website,” “the site” or “this site” include all of our related trade show, trade conference, award and publication websites, whether accessible from this website or directly. By visiting the website and allowing us to collect personal data from you, you are agreeing to and accepting the practices in this privacy policy. This website is maintained by Grange Products Pty. Ltd. and is designed to display information about our trade shows, trade conferences, awards and publications in Australia, New Zealand, and other countries around the world. References in this privacy policy to PlastixANZ, “we,” “our” or “us” are to Grange Products Pty. Ltd. and its subsidiaries and affiliates. We keep your name, address, company name, and business contact details as well as an indication of the particular areas of business that interest you.  If you carry out any transactions through us or through the website, we will retain billing, accounting and other financial details. We also may retain information regarding your visits to our site, including but not limited to traffic data, location data, and other communications data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or to improve the site or to facilitate the resources that you wish to access. 

IP addresses and cookies

We may collect information about your computer, IP address, operating system and browser type for system administration purposes and to report aggregate information to our customers and those we advertise or market with.  This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns and does not identify the individual user. Where we store and process your personal information

The data that we collect from you will normally be collected and stored on our group servers located in Australia.  The information will be processed by our processors or our staff operating trade shows, trade conferences, awards or publications, which may be in Australia or New Zealand or other locations where we conduct business, or where we or our processors maintain equipment and facilities. SecuritySecure server software is used to encrypt information where appropriate and we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of the information you have given to us and require our processors to do the same. Whenever we obtain your personal information, we take appropriate precautions to protect it from unauthorized access or disclosure, but we cannot act as insurers of the security of your personal information transmitted over the Internet.  Accordingly, we assume no liability for any disclosure of data due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third party access or other acts of third parties, or acts or omissions beyond our reasonable control. On occasion we may request proof of your identity before we disclose any personal information to you. 

Uses made of your personal information

We use your personal information in various ways. We collect personal information to ensure that the content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and your computer, to provide you with information about our business, about trade show and trade conference exhibitors and attendees and their products and services, about our awards and publications, about advertisers and subscribers to our publications and their products and services, and about any other products and services that you request from us or which may be of interest to you. We also use your personal information to perform our contracts with you, to allow you to participate in interactive features of our service and to notify you about changes to our service. We may carry out this processing of your personal information ourselves or we may engage agents and processors to perform some of these functions for us. How long will we retain your personal data?

If you have not attended or visited trade shows or trade conferences, or advertised in or received our publications for five years, we may delete your personal data.  We will also delete your personal data if you write or email and request that we do so (see “Contact” below), although we will continue to keep certain data to safeguard the record of our business dealings. 

Can you change your data?

You may have the ability to view or edit your information online.  You may be able to change your personal data by changing your details using your personal login in the “Members” section of the website or by writing to us.  We will update our records if, for example, you have changed your name, moved to another company or moved to a new address.  We will continue to keep certain records to safeguard the record of our business dealings.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes.  As this policy explains, in the absence of a written request from you (including an email request) that we do not use your personal data for that purpose, we intend to market to you and share your data with our customers interested in marketing to you.  If you wish to exercise your opt out from sharing your personal data for these purposes please ensure that you check certain boxes on the forms which we use to collect your information.  Alternatively please contact us in writing (including by email) as provided under “Contact” below. The website recognizes the home servers of visitors, but not their email addresses.
